Welcome to Splint. By downloading, installing, or using the Splint mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Service Description
Splint is a tool designed to help users track shared expenses between flatmates, friends, or groups. The app provides a platform for manual entry of expenses and calculates balances automatically.
2. User Accounts
To use Splint, you must sign in via Google Authentication or a custom email. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities under your account are your responsibility.
3. Data Accuracy
Splint is a manual tracking tool. We are not responsible for any errors in calculations resulting from incorrect data entered by the user. Users should verify all entries before making any actual financial settlements.
4. No Financial Transactions
Splint is NOT a payment app. We do not process actual money transfers, bank payments, or UPI transactions. All financial settlements between users must be handled externally.
5. Third-Party Services
Our app uses Firebase (for database and hosting) and OneSignal (for push notifications). By using Splint, you also agree to the terms of these third-party providers.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the app for any illegal activities or to upload any offensive or harmful content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
BinaryVast and the developers of Splint shall not be held liable for any financial disputes, data loss, or damages arising from the use of this application.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
